Cancer preservation food

1- Dark Leafy Vegetables.
All dark leafy vegetables including spinach, lettuce, beet greens and red cabbage are very good for your over all health for all the fibers and nutrients contained, these types of vegetables contain antioxidants called carotenoids which help removing free radicals from your bloodstream, it is these free radicals that are responsible for cancerous cells growth, so make sure you eat dark leafy vegetables more often.

2- Cruciferous Vegetables.
Cruciferous vegetables include cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli, these type of vegetables are very nutritious and rich with antioxidants that help reducing the risk of cancer by clearing free radicals from the bloodstream.

3- Tomatoes.
Tomatoes contain a compound called lycopene, this compound was proven to be very effective in Preventing breast and lungs cancer, lycopene is absorbed more when the tomatoes are cooked, so tomato soup and sauces should be consumed more often.
4- Garlic.
Garlic has many health benefits, it contains a compound called allicin which was proven to prevent skin, colon and lungs cancer, also onions contain many similar compounds in addition to many powerful antioxidants found in specially red onions.
5- Grapes.
Grapes and specially red grapes are also very effective in Preventing cancer, they contain a compound called resveratrol which was found to be effective in inhibiting the growth of abnormal or cancerous cells, it also protect the body cells from getting damaged.
6- Mushrooms.
Mushrooms contain chemical compounds similar to those found in garlic and onion, therefore they are effective in Preventing cancer, it also help boosting the immune system
to fight any diseases invading your body.
7- Whole Grains.
Whole grains contain fibers, phytoestrogens, antioxidants and other powerful chemical compounds that have the ability to fight cancerous cells, but they should be eaten more regularly to benefit your body and overall health.
